End of Week 4 an d 142 Miles now complete. I am managing to maintain my position inside the first 100, although it got close in the week as I was number 99.
Today was a hard slog, I had no motivation and the first mile was tough. But I thought I'll just keep plodding and see where I end up.
I gave myself a little game - Spotting event t shirts - it is lovely seeing so many people running in t shirts they have from taking part in events. I did start keeping count but it got a little complicated, I did see a few Cardiff 10K and Cardiff Half, a Porthcawl 10K just to name a few, and a variety of charity running tops.
At around 7K I spotted a TeamKW t shirt coming towards me and I wondered if it would be anyone I knew....it was Dr Mike.
It is so lovely to see people you know and particularly around that point for me, when I am normally starting to flag. With renewed energy I carried on to complete 10 and a bit more with my cool down walk home (every tep counts on this challenge)
During the week I caught up with Movember and they would like to do a piece on why I am running/walking /plodding for them - they mentioned they will have a stylist for the photoshoot!
So I think I better restart my Mo again....just in case they choose me!
Have worked out at the current weekly mileage we could have this challenge done before Christmas, but there is a lot of miles between now and then.
