I am now officially a - Marathon Runner in Training - well at least as far as my friends are concerned.
I have today weighed myself for the first time is ages, I have tended to judge my weight loss or gain on how well my clothes fit. Currently most don't fit very well, which I have put down to comfort eating and medication.
I have recorded where we are and will keep track to see how well the training is going.
I have realised that due to a busy time in work, which is keeping me active, that actual training may need to wait a few days - well at least that is my excuse, and I'm sticking to it.
It is my plan to ease in with some walking to begin with, I am a little nervous of my knees, they aren't great and I don't want to aggravate them before we even get going. Will have a check on knee supports and the correct footwear to make sure they stay safe.
After 24 years of helping others to achieve their running goals - it is now my time.
